Residential Development Revolving Loan Program
The Residential Development Revolving Loan Program is a $100 million state initiative designed to support new residential development in Ohio’s rural communities. The program provides low-interest, revolving loans to eligible local governments to help fund infrastructure improvements such as water, sewer, roads, and utilities. Funding is available on a rolling basis to eligible jurisdictions while funds remain.

Marysville Residential Grants

The Community Housing Impact and Preservation (CHIP) Grant assists low- to moderate-income households with housing repairs and affordable housing needs. Marysville CRA
The Marysville Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) program encourages residential reinvestment and revitalization in the Uptown District and surrounding older neighborhoods by offering tax incentives for home improvements. Under the program, qualifying owner-occupied homes with no more than two units that undertake significant structural upgrades can receive a 75% property tax abatement on the increased value from those improvements for seven years.

In Plain City, the Uptown District Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) supports residential investment by offering a temporary property tax abatement for significant renovation or new construction of owneroccupied singlefamily homes and duplexes within the Uptown District. This incentive helps reduce the tax burden on the increase in property value that results from major improvements.
