Marysville Residential Grants

Several residential grant and incentive programs are available to support home repair, neighborhood reinvestment, and accessibility improvements in Marysville. The Community Housing Impact and Preservation (CHIP) Grant assists low- to moderate-income households with housing repairs and affordable housing needs. The Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) Program offers tax incentives to encourage residential reinvestment and revitalization in Marysville’s Uptown District and surrounding neighborhoods. The Connie Patterson Home Improvement Reimbursement Grant provides a 50/50 match, up to $3,500, for improvements to owner-occupied single-family homes. The Sidewalk & Curb Improvement Program supports the installation and repair of sidewalks within the public right-of-way to improve safety, accessibility, and neighborhood connectivity.

The Marysville Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) program encourages residential reinvestment and revitalization in the Uptown District and surrounding older neighborhoods by offering tax incentives for home improvements. Under the program, qualifying owner-occupied homes with no more than two units that undertake significant structural upgrades can receive a 75% property tax abatement on the increased value from those improvements for seven years.
