HOMES & LIVING

Welcome Home

With plentiful job opportunities, close-knit neighborhoods, excellent school systems, and an outstanding quality of life, there is no wonder why Union County is the second fastest growing county in Ohio. Those considering moving to Union County quickly find diverse housing options to meet nearly any budget, family size, or stage of life.

Recent growth and development have resulted in the construction of a tremendous amount of new single-family homes, condominiums, and apartments throughout Union County. New residential developments such as Jerome Village in Jerome Township and Woodside in Marysville are just two examples of the many new communities that are emerging to accommodate recent population growth.

While new development is occurring throughout Union County, many have also found the charm of downtown living irresistible. The downtown neighborhoods of Marysville, Plain City, and Richwood contain a number of early 20th century homes and upper-level residential units awaiting renovation. These historic homes, many of which are situated on quiet, tree-lined streets close to downtown shops and restaurants, are proving to be highly attractive to young professionals and empty nesters alike. And for residents longing for a quiet country setting, Union County also offers farms, homesteads, and rural estates. Those who choose rural living are treated to scenic vistas, friendly neighbors, and nature at its finest.
